I wonder how Poltex is doing, I saw that canal beside the property overflow from a rainy week, let alone the amount of rain they have received so far from this storm

Saw a report that Dayton, TX has had 27.5 inches of rain so far.

    Yea,that's nice isn't it.
    Just hopped in one myself.
Almost forgot what it was like to be
    In reliable equipment.

I was thru that area a couple weeks ago, and all the ditches were almost overflowing then, I could only imagine how bad it is with that much more liquid.

On the Magnum Pete's, I had heard that the noise reduction on the factory hands free system isn't that great...and we had the PACCAR motor which was a lot quieter than the Cummins

It's useable on the Freightliner, but not even in the same zip code with Blue Parrott B450-XT, or even my old Plantronics Voyger Pro.

The Voyger was about spent so I tried out the radio on the truck hoping that would work out and save me from having to buy a new device. I can hear the person I'm talking to fine through the radio, but everyone I talked to said I sounded like I was in a barrel.

I just broke down and used some of my Loves points and got the Blue Parrott.

The new Poly Petes are just fine
Nice and quite on the inside and the
"talk into open space" iPhone deal is perfect ,

Also Unlike the Internationals that were like driving a noisy farm tractor everywhere in the Petes I can actually enjoy the stereo for the first time in 3 years

Even started rebuilding my music collection since it's all Bluetooth

    :)

My new Freighliner is quiet. I just think it's the fact that the microphone is mounted on the A post, which is a foot or two from my mouth. Again, I hear the person I'm talking to perfectly. They just all say I sound like I'm in a barrel. Lol
