How do these RGN ramps look?

My company is finally getting around to making some ramps for our trucks. We run mostly mechanical 2 axle Rgn's with the occasional 3rd axle pinned on. Mostly we use them as double drops and don't break them down very often. We have been having issues with crossmembers getting caught by the kingpins.

How do these ramps look? They look like they would fit the criteria our company was wanting. Transferable to the next truck at trade in time and no/little frame modifications. They are on one of our sister company's trucks so it should be a simple process to find out where they are made.

I made mine, they look somewhat similar. Be mindful of rail clearance on the neck once you slide the fifth wheel up. If you load heavy and make a turn on a hump they will hang. At least on mine.

We have one or two trailers with a deep kingpin that will do the same on my ramps. I'm going to buy a taller 5th wheel riser and hope it helps.
I can't get weight on my steers and if I raise it up I might be able to get it more forward for weight on the steers.

I figured that's what I would do, just haven't got a round tuit yet. I have some 2x6 tubing that I used when pulling tanks. But I think I need taller saddles not just raise the whole slide assembly.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

My tires are actually taller than my ramps. The tires rub too, it's pissing me off.
I can't get that GD thing to slide. I was 11,900 steers and 34,620 drives 1/2 tanks.

cke, Oxbow and noluck Thank this.

They look okay to me, not having a direct sideview to gauge tire clearance. The rollers will hop a bit at the sharp turns, but, I've used plenty of Cozad ramps that look like that without issue.

    cke and DDlighttruck Thank this.

    Is it air, or mechanical?

    Has it ever been moved?

Do the pins at least unlock when you put air to it, or are they hanging up?

If not, try a little PB B'laster on them. I've seen that stuff work some wonders

New air cylinder, pins are free. Washed and blown out rails. Penetrating fluid at least 8 times now over the last month. Unlock it check the pins are free and hit the pin on a loaded trailer 20 times over the last month.
    No bueno
