Personally I'm a night driver and a female. Sorry but I'm not walking across a dark parking lot to come inside to pee or get a refill on coffee.
I'm conscience of my safety. I've done this for 18 years. If someone pulls behind I'm nice enough to let them know give me five minutes and I'll be out your way. Rarely happens though. I heard many people talk of hookers getting killed or missing because of wandering around truck stops at night. Even though I don't look like one I don't take any chances.

Most of these drivers are "Lazy" pure and simple. They are usually "dragging their heels, taking their required 30 minure break"! Some take it in the pumps ,while others fuel and creep forward and finish off blocking the stalls.Fueled behind a container driver last week.20 minutes later comes out with corn dogs..moving like pond water.Seen and looked at me when he 1st exited his truck to go in the store.Another 5 minutes and he would have gotten "the famous Fortress Padlock on one of his trailer doors.

I love OTR, I am fed up with multiple short loads in a row, not near where I live part, and probably will stay local real soon.
But OTR is a good fit for me,
    .
I went out to a friend's party Friday night, it was dreadful, cornhole until 2 in the morning???? and the bull ####, everyone is making soooo much money in the factories.
All I need to be happy is beer, TTR and a TV set.

Rocks can be useful, unlike some drivers.
