Time requested off for BBQ. Finally got that Jennie O load off my back, picking up here in Grapevine then off to Aurora for a Friday morning delivery. Waiting to see where I go next.

 

Some owner operators have some really creative company names. Today i saw "second chance trucking"

 

Got to Aurora a 22 hours early my appt is tomorrow at 0800. Parked on the street to wait they come and knock on my truck and told him appt was tomorrow. I'm at the dock unloading now a day early.

 

Billings, MT Peterbilt called me last night and said the water pump went south.. They said that they didn't have one in stock and had to overnight one in. They are also going to replace the thermostat. No debris was found in the coolant system so a flush is not required. Randy in the tractor shop said that he has only seen the water pump fail in one other Paccar engine so I guess I won the not so luck lottery. lol. Chris and Matt are working on a load for me out of Billings for Saturday I will be happy to be rolling again..

How close are you to these fires I keep hearing about in Montana?

 

Atlanta Motor Speedway has opened it's campground to evacuees for free all services included. A local non profit is putting some entertainment together for them with local entertainers who are willing to volunteer their time. So my daughter and her friends were asked to play and of course she has agreed to it.

 

I hope you plan on passing around autographed merch from your daughter to all the Magnumites on here. That's gonna be worth a lot of money some day!

 

All I want I want is for her is to be self sufficient and happy with her life. While continuing to have the compassion and the willingness to encourage and help other kids overcome any obstacles like the one that she stills struggles with.
