Hey look I came here trying to give advice on how to take a better angle in communication with your FM, and your trainer.
I don't comment here very often but I reached out to you to offer help because I was in similar situation in TNT and I honestly wanted to help. I used the same methods to successfully resolve that situation.

The comment I made was based on the info you gave. I said that you've completed just over 2 wks of TNT when in fact you've completed 3 wks and you're really to fly off the handle over me not giving you credit for 1/2 wk of TNT??

Don't sweat it crocky, simply be patient, get your 30 thousand, call your fm, to get routed in for upgrade... Robert Low said in a Friday safety meeting that all he asks is you get from point a to point b in a safe manner. This was directed to new students. ...All this Drama about students being ready to solo....

Well, after reading through this interesting thread, I will now toss in my cpl pennies..... I came through the Prime process and am now an instructor/trainer. During my training period I got feeling my trainer wanted to keep me as long as possible, not as bad as OP, mine was maybe weeks (1 or 2), not a month. However, I was clear that my goal was to get into own truck asap and he heard it referenced every day. The theory that some trainers have about keeping a student on truck as long as possible is silly to me, you can simply grab another and continue making the extra money and cash in on upgrade/6&12 month bonuses. However, some trainers don't comprehend this logic and do try to keep same student for extended time, this is certainly not true of all trainers but some. Personally, I came here to get into my own truck and start making better money and assume my students would like to do same. As long as they are competent and comfortable enough to upgrade at the 30,000 mile mark, I am communicating with dispatch about being routed through Sprimo. As previously stated, if he wants to keep you on truck beyond company policy he should be communicating the aspects you need work in and working on those with you. I also don't understand the no room in passenger seat, how was he able to sit there during entirety of PSD, as he is supposed to be while you drive. It is also pretty crumby that you aren't able to use fridge at all, I understand not filling it up but a cpl drinks and few food items shouldn't be a problem, even a lb of lunch meat and loaf of bread in cabinet would save you some cash and take up minimal space. Best of luck

During PSD the stuff wasn't in the front seat. As far as picking up a new student, I dont think he trains in the winter months, which is why I think he would like to keep me longer.

Anyway, we didnt get any big miless last week due to needing reset and biggest we got this week is a tad over 1k so my miles have slowed a bit. The load we picked up today is a tad over 1k miles but doesnt deliver until Monday, so we will be sitting again and looks like I'll only be hitting a tad of 17k miles come Monday.

Kinda crappy, because we both had full resets the start of this week and could have hammered out some miles.. Oh well, I still think Ill be over 30k by the end of this month.

LoL... The extra stuff finally got moved out of the truck, we started getting lots of miles again. I have over 30k now and should be upgrading next week. Getting home time at the moment.
