    If u joints in steering shaft are good check king pins and tie rods and steering assist piston if equipped

    Im with nasriza and baha.Soft worn hoses or filter/fluid flush is where Id look 1st.JMO

    Left out" Does the steering return to center? Possible overadjusted steering box also.

    LOL, You're telling someone to pull a drag link and pitman arm apart who doesn't know or have checked that there's a filter in the reservoir, wonder how much for a steering box and pump instead of a 20 dollar filter.

    Part swapping or "swapnostics" can get expensive quick. Sometimes you can get lucky. If the filter really was that bad that its causing issues it surely should have been serviced long before it caused a steering complaint. If the filter was plugged to the point it was starving the pump for fluid the damage is likely already done.

    Not to mention how did that filter get plugged up to begin with? That debris came from somewhere.

    I got an answer for this when driver see little leaks they proceed to add the wonderful additive of stop leak which we both know it's junk and that will plug up filters easy.

    While I agree that stop leak snake oils are junk. I must repectfully disagree about them plugging a paper filter element. Most petroleum based stop leak magic potions contain silicone or other chemicals which swell rubber parts to help hardened seals supposedly seal again. Temporarily of course. Transmission and engine oil stop leaks work the same way and why they are such a bad idea. Coolant stop leaks on the other hand are completely different and contain particles to plug holes. You may be right, just doesnt seem possible to me.
