Sounds like the guy that's too cool for school. It's all good. Next year it'll be "I can't believe no one told me I wasn't gonna get paid for the work I did"

    :laughing-guffaw:LOL!:laughing-guffaw: That's not gonna happen.
I get paid for EVERYTHING I do. I got out of OTR 2 years ago. People like this "Bill" you guys keep talking about, screwed me for 25 years.....I guess not the whole 25, because it was ok through the 90's, but then about 99' or 00' it became an "Every Man For Themselves" mentality amongst drivers, and companies and brokers got more, and more, and more greedy.....and nobody ever wants to do anything about it short of #####ing on the Internet. Warn people about how crappy one company is, and then move right on to the next scum bag outfit.
    :kermit::kermit::kermit::kermit::kermit:

Am I "too cool for school"...yes I am; because instead of taking abuse and getting reamed in the rear by 'one more ridiculous' trucking company or trying to rally the troops for changes, I got the hell out.

But I don't want anyone to take this post the wrong way...keep taking a pounding by these trucking companies, because I need groceries. And, if you're not NETTING $350 a day living on the road, YOU have to decide if you feel it's worth the rash on your bum.

I'm tired of trying to open people's eyes---just way too much "dumb" out there that over-powers common sence.

So really nothing you have to say is of any value to the topic here? Took you 25 years to figure out you were getting screwed, you know it all, have the best job in the world, in the 90's you helped usher in the new era thinking of "me first" and #### everybody else? Ok. That's fine.

Farm2Fleet wasn't a terrible company in the beginning and for a while. It was head and shoulders superior to about any other company out here an operator could lease to. But they ran it into the ground and so what happened happened. And most of us that moved on with our lives found solid companies to get with in the aftermath.

Just trying to give a friendly heads up and warning to other operators out there. These people are brokering loads and recruiting o/o again. Since you're in a company gig working for $350 in chump change a day really makes one wonder why you even concern yourself with things you know nothing about in the first place.

From everything I have learned, the only person that didn't get paid out in terms of drivers is Mark. There have been a couple others that have made claims, and Chris (who got paid every penny he was owed) has made up stories and let people believe he didn't get paid, but according to the office people that I talked to today, that is 100% false.

I will say that the BS of people that never worked for Bill, who have never talked to him, and get all their "facts" from the internet is really a sad. Chris is the cheerleader of the "hate wagon". And the group of drivers that still speak only heard of him because Lauren would use an email if his in training. Outside that, he wanted nothing to do with any of us lesser drivers. He even puts us down.

What a hero he is. Not sure why Bill still defends him.

Here is the story that I got today from an ex-employee of Bill's that got fired by Bill. He says he isn't friends and hasn't talked to him since asking for a reference.

When Bill announced the sale of the company to the employees, he made a comment (I have heard others say this as well) that his biggest fear was they were 1 bad event away from locking the doors, everyone was fired, and all the drivers would have to figure it out. He took the steps he took to secure the driver's pay and employment for the staff.

Again, I have heard the same version of this from different people and the group of drivers that Chris would have nothing to do with agree that this is a fair representation of what they have heard as well.

I have heard everything from he lost control when his health (eyes) went plus they couldn't fire employees and drivers when they needed to. To he was an awful business person with a great idea. To he lied about things when they got tough and made up the health issues to take pressure off. To the Chris version designed to make himself feel important.

I have only been able to find one driver that has a legitimate claim to being owed money. Mark.

Craig is a special kinda touched. Not sure his whole story because he is like Chris, he is better than the rest of us.

But if you are going to post a supporting post about him being a yes man, at least make it a post about Bill and not Maxtrans.

My guess is he is supporting Maxtrans he worked a good deal for himself. That is the rumor.
