    Several weeks ago I was about to get my own authority again. I let the owner of a small carrier Rawhide Express convince me to give his little outfit a try first.
    I agreed to take a chance and ended a dysfunctional relationship with CRST Malone (best decision I made in years). I now have the flexibility to run my business as I see fit. My first week I grossed the same as I grossed the entire month of July with Malone!
    The work ain't for everyone, as there is no handholding and you better be ready to work.

    All I can say is Malone who?

    Yeah, My policy is: I don't work 4 douchebags. I do my recon b4 I even sign on with an outfit by talking to their drivers. If I find douchebaggery afoot, I'm not touching them.

    Fyi looking to get my own ride next year Nightrunner.

    The ONLY hand holding I got was from members of this forum and my insurance guy.....he is a former trucker and commercial insurance only and knew a lot....and a few questions answered by OOIDA.....man after that you are soooooo on your own...

    You probably don't act in a manner which requires micro managing. I have a feeling with ELDs there will be a greater need for micromanaging in the future. Some people will have to break some long standing habits to make it work.
