There is an Isx here, not mine, a company truck. The oil usage was not as big a deal as messing up the DPF system. Repeated clean outs and then the canister is cracked and not under warranty( $5.000 ) Restore did not fix it and it was overhauled. I was told under warranty but I see no paper work. This one did not make 300,000 and you left out Restore cost about $60 per gallon.

Ouch. I did not check restore price. But still it would worth to try. Or just get rid off the truck and buy a glidder.

Restore fixed my issue, but shame on Cummins for not to inform and help people about their faulty design. With the hope to prevent further build ups, I switched to Valvoline 5W40 full synthetic.

I've been dumping a lot of oil in my 2013 isx lately also but until now haven't kept track of the top off intervals ..will see what the clock says when it's down a gallon again .
No reason for it that I can see ...still good power , great mpg and no idling ...no smoke either .
This just started in the last few weeks . -
