Make sure you guys are checking the side fairings on your new trucks.
Almost all of my bolts were loose .
T30 torx bit for the bolt and a 10mm wrench for the nut

I think I found a street parking areas in Carson if I can get in early enough Sunday, but you know how things fill up on Sundays for Monday AM delivery. I don't want to have to hit any freeways at 07:00 Monday morning and blow up the few remaining minutes I'll have.
Carson parking map attached minimal as it is ...
I'm planning on keeping the load but that's assuming things go well the next few days. Will have to make the final call Friday afternoon and see if I can "scrounge up" some reserve time. I use 62 MPH as an average. and would have about 2.0-2.5 hours left after minimal PTI's and fuel and such and if don't hit a lot of slow-and-go traffic somewhere like I-40 AR. But for planning purposes and worst case scenario, 1 hour may be more realistic.
But if she found a swap around OKC Saturday, that would be okay with me but I don't think she wants to deal with a swap unless somebody else needs it for home time or emergency in SoCal.Attached Files:

I am getting so sick of running across the southern tier and desert SW, and the southeast and up and down the Appalachians. My fuel eco sucks lately. Now watch, this winter when I'll beg for a run across 10, I'll be stuck running back and forth across 94/90.
This will be the third broker load back to back. I miss our regular stuff. -

Well I made it to Carson and unloaded by 09:00 (hour early). Had 2.5 hours left on my 70. Head over to Fullerton and get in a door 3.5 hours ahead of the appt. promptly loaded. Checked traffic, crossed my fingers after determining I a had just enough time to get to the grapevine J if nobody did anything stupid, and parked with 12 minutes to spare.
I like these days where everything happens better than you could have imagined but I like to think some careful planning and diligent work had some to do with it. You make a lot of your own luck in this job.

You should of started a protest lol

you guys running 10 hour maximum on your days for recap or you run all 70 in a week?
-
I've ran 7+ weeks without a reset, and I've gotten resets every week or two for a time. Regardless, 6k every 2 weeks is pretty much expected average. I prefer when the coast to coast loads fall back to back and reset at either end somewhere comfortable.Last edited: Oct 10, 2017
