Why do you say to stay away from maverick and TMC? I've heard good things about them.

Trinity Logistics starts driver at .55 a mile. They have good trucks and interesting work. It can be a lot of work.

I wouldn't necessarily call boyd THE largest flatbed company out there. They only have around 700 power units, even tmc has more than that. But they are apart of one of the largest open deck conglomerates, that being Daeske

Sounds like you have a pretty good gig where you're at...greener pastures ain't all they are cracked up to be...greenest spot in the yard is over the septic tank..

Boyd Brothers has less than 1000 power units... how you figure, driver?

Their apart of Daeske, sure. But I wouldn't consider them a huge slice of the pie here...

As others have said -- a location would be nice. I'd consider conestoga to be flatbed work and in turn count as experience. I'd skip the mega companies that have been suggested and try to get into a more specialized line of work with a smaller carrier.

With that being said... a whopping .42 per mile? Melton would start you higher than that.... but I wouldn't suggest coming here with your level of experience.

Shoot, must be. I look for Conestogas as often as possible, for my open deck freight. I have several customers who love them for the time they save.

Look it up. On their SAFER snapshot as of 10/13/17 Boyd had 713 power units. 713<1000
