53,500 lbs of plastic sheeting, direct from China. Came in on a 40' container, boss transloaded it to our flatbed, scaled at 84,500 lbs gross. Had to buy a single trip overweight permit to run it from Denver to Grand Junction.

How do you get a permit for a divisible load? I get it if it's a container but now it's on a flat?

    Really. I don't know?

He is in Colorado - and Colorado will write divisible load permits upto certain load weights. A little like NE and KS do for the ag/livestock haulers or IN/MI do for the steel guys

Ruthless and Tug Toy Thank this.

Seems like it would be a rotor from a generator or turbine based on it being in a cradle and costing big money.

    fargonaz and G13Tomcat Thank this.
