Depending on what you were in prison for, you are automatically disqualified from even obtaining a CDL. DUI's will also prevent you from obtaining employment with a trucking company depending on how many you have and how long ago they were. Accidents, speeding tickets, and other moving violations will also prevent you from getting hired by a company. Even Swift, Werner, and JB Hunt have standards. They may not be as high as places that require a minimum of a year experience, but even they cannot rewrite the regulations.

That is true. I'm not saying that just anyone can get a job as a driver. All I'm saying is that the lower the standards for a company, the lower the quality of people you have to work for you, there bye more accidents and the like.

Yeah I read that blog too....I think that your right, dude sounds like a goober. I asked Jazz about it, and she couldn't tell me much, but ole boy was trying to hide info from the company about his past. I've been in 12 years total, with a break in service of about 2 years....I drove truck during the break. Glad to hear that you got your test squared away, and I'll be seeing you in a couple weeks!!
