Bad DAC report....who will hire you ?

I am a driver out of georgia who worked for a big company .I had 3 accidents in 3 weeks after driving 6 weeks of training but when got my own truck i was assigned a doglegged trailer (to the right) which I complained about for 2 weeks then I was sent into a very tight spot not big enough for a 70+ foot truck & trailer plus customer had 5 vehicles in the way requested that they be moved they only moved 2 of the vehicles. I was already in the loading area tried to get out but ended up taking out a fence due to the 3 vehicles in the way and the doglegged trailer to the side the fence was on but the company deemed it a chargeable accident even though was never ticketed or citation issues they put it on my DAC. The. Very next week I refused to drive with that trailer and returned to terminal where trailer was declaired un-reapairable with twisted tandems and I was issued a new trailer .But the company put the accident on my DAC record as chargeable even though no citation or tickets were issued.

 

As someone who did some medical recovery time helping the recruiter, I can tell you this: One company saying bad things about you on the DAC doesn't kill you. It's when multiple companies say the SAME thing about you on the DAC. Patterns are a killer.

You forget that they also look at perfectly clean DAC reports all day too...

 

Hi stay away from K&B Transportation. I worked for them 1m very disrespectful, and will not allow you to get miles. I was 250m from yard, and notified them I was returning equipment. They said if you bring it to our yard we will call police and you will be pulled over for stealing our truck, return to truck stop,and leave it. Once at truck stop 250m away I messaged company that per ... orders equipment was at truck stop. They said ... already had a driver on the way. I recorded these messages, but k&b has me for abandonment preventing me from getting a trucking job

 

Some companies will hire you anyway. Get on Craigslist and start making phone calls and leaving phone messages, even if you don't think you have a chance.

Absolutely a fact. Has happened so many times... don't mention quitting until you are on company property, or they will get you, hard. Not an exaggeration.
