Average advertised wages are 1700-2100. 2100 being in most cases at 6month with a % increase from what I see. Good luck guys. My word of advise is put in some apps from where you are but outside of that pack up and head down. It's nothing like being at ground zero looking for a notch.Thats my opinion based on experience. The old way pre internet of hunting for a position still works just as efficiently as blogs.

My only worry is, I've o my been trained on a 10 speed in my career. I don't want to waste an employers time if I get bored and they hit me with an 18 speed lol

Seems like the ND region and OH/PA/WV region utilize those most with Texas having many employers whom have 10 speeds.

If you can drive a 10 speed well a 18 speed is pretty straight forward. All you're doing is splitting gears.

I felt the same way 4 years ago, it’s easy, I now hate 10 speeds, 13 you split the top, only 2.5 rpm difference, in 18 you split the top and bottom gears, sooo nice for heavy on the hills

Also practice your left foot braking, makes for easy downshift going down steep hills, that heel toe business is dangerous boots are muddy or wet
