GOOD TEAM COMPANY IN TENNESSEE?

There is a company based here in Colorado called CAST. They have a small terminal there. It’s a flat bed company but they mostly run Hazmat stuff that is super easy flat bed or conestoga no touch loads. I ran team for them and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind a team based there. Not 100% sure if they still do teams cause this was 6+ years ago. They have great equipment and fix anything you ask them. Teams get treated well there better then their normal OTR drivers.

Yes, and it's rather intense because you drop hook in Memphis, establish Qualcomm link to trailer and confirm to your bosses that both tractor and trailer is on the proper tracking which means show time, let's go. You don't stop for at least 5 hours. In fact overnights need to be there in one drive. 600+ miles prior to sunrise tomorrow.

It's motivating because the vials inside the wrapped pallets are going to be delivered into people who pretty much hover between this side of paradise and that side of hell.

 

The best pay for teams will be with linehaul. Some of those teams make $90K - $100K for each driver.

Don't let the lower cpm with those other companies fool you. It's the miles & accessorial pays that count.
With over 20 yrs. experience I took a job that paid .36 cpm which may seem low, but at the end of the year was making $65K. I had good miles and accessorial pays. You have to look at the whole picture, not just the cpm.

 

My husband and I team for TLD Logistics in Crossville. We're on a dedicated route. Our dispatcher has been having trouble finding another team for the route.
The pays not high, but there are bonuses and you get paid for all miles (practical miles). We average 5000 miles a week. The people are decent. Teams get newer trucks too.

I agree 100% as linehaul teams you will make money. They will keep you running. 90-100k+ is pretty easy and most weekends off.
