Is this normal Mark? I'm only using GPS and XM. I have WiFi and Bluetooth off. Directly plugged into the power socket, no splitter or anything. IMG_20171027_082018_215.jpg

Why? Are they working on a solution? Rubber bands will obstruct the display and be a nuiscence. I'll figure out some other way for now but I hope they will correct this issue.

GIS added a truck prohibited restriction to the data. It will show up on the next quarterly Incremental Update.

    Thanks,

Gluing it will not help in case of warranty.. Did you call RM CS for a replacement? The Slice is handled differently for the OD 7/8 for RMA's.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I contacted them and they are going to send a replacement part. I just know you communicate with them and figured any feedback regarding this problem might speed up corrective action. I do hope there will be some kind of fix because I have a feeling the replacement will just do the same thing. Too much weight on two weak pieces of plastic isn't good especially with all the bouncing around this thing gets in a truck. I'm amazed the magnets haven't let go once which is nice.

I did talk to my Boss, who is the Director for new products in regards to the suggestions. We are working on a solution.

BTW.. can you take a picture of yours for me?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hey Mark.

Another minor issue with the new Overdryve 8 Pro. When it comes to Junction View, the previous TND Tablets would show them all at whatever distance you selected. Now, the Overdryve only shows the Junction View on a seemingly intermittent basis. Is this intentional, or am I missing something in Settings. Currently set to show Junction View at 2 miles ( just as I had on the TND80). But again, it sometimes shows it and sometimes not.

Hey Mark I know I'm asking a lot of questions but is there a way to turn down the voice of the GPS independent of the volume of the tablet itself? I'll be listening to music at a nice level and then Samantha will yell at me, feeling like she is going to blow my speakers....

Mark Kling and Corporal_Clegg Thank this.
