Read your entire driver's diary and it was informative, at least from a drivers point of view. I am new to JB but I have to admit after driving 12+ years with my last company, specific company procedures and policies here, will require me to adjust. I was never one who prefer to work in an environment where I felt micro managed or monitored. Having left a senior driver position where I made top dollar to one where there is a reduction in salary will be another major adjustment. (I netted $1300 /wkly) at my last employer working on an hourly salary with two to three stops nightly before ending my work day to go home. What would help in getting more rest time, is that my last employer would allow us sleeper birth time to rest, while truck was being unloaded. JB does not advocate this. Oh well.
