STexan has a thread with the gripes, if you care to read that. They set the mirrors farther ahead on the passenger door, at least, making a bigger blind spot because you look at it through the small window, at least that's how it looked on the daycab I was parked next to.

    Anyway, he had several complaints.

How much is the lease costing you over 3 years?

I actually like it.... now. I thought it was the culprit along with the automated transmission for my truck (brand new btw) for lurching all over the lanes. Turned out it was a bad torque arm bushing from the factory, I drove it like that for 10 months never expecting something like that to be worn out or to have passed Freightliner's QC inspection. But the truck tracks very straight down the road and the air/leaf suspension is wonderful, it absorbs the road very well.

autos rule if it's still under warranty or you drive somebodie's truck. after 500k miles you will cry here for help or you will be surprised why your truck's value is same as Honda civic's value. )))))))))

I am bias too. I always prefer a manual transmission...but you can order a NGC (Next Gen Cascadia) with a manual!!

I would order new Cascadia with meritor rears and 13 speed eaton fuller. Detroit rears are weak junk. I have seen many of them broken at 400-500k m.

Well...it depends on the rear end. I'd have to think about what I'd want as far as rear end ratio and if I want a direct drive or over drive transmission.

I sent off for brochures for the Cascadia versus a comparable Volvo. My company can get a fleet price on both.
