Parked on the Indiana toll road in a service plaza for the night.
Every time I hit a bump the fuse for the trailer lights pops.
Brand new trailer has a short somewhere I'm too tired to fool with it.

    rant over... :(

Park Rapids MN parked at the shipper. More French fried for Texas.
Got my service done plus new shocks took them about 4 hours. Snowed the entire 180 miles up here.

    Kingsville at the diner.

Never got my trailer light problem sorted out...Every time I hit a bump the 30a fuse for the trailer blows, I still have 4-ways though.
No issues with the truck lights they never went out.
Pig tail looks good no noticeable issues with it.
No bare wires that I could find on either truck or trailer.
The trailer is one of our new Great Danes it can't be but a couple months old.

Anybody have any thoughts on what to check next?

Pop out every light that you can, (if you haven't already) and check for bare wire there. On a new trailer awhile back this was the case for me. Tight spot inside light hole wore through to bare wire, and a couple plastic wire connectors burned out right after that. Cheapset ones I ever seen. Good luck. Wiring is a pita. @Tall Mike

At a Pilot in NE.... I bet Mr. @KAK knows this place very well... we met here one time...
Gonna leave right after midnight when I get some more hrs....
The road was super beautiful last night.... the moon was completely full.... some strong winds east of Rawlins, WY but didn't last very long.... and they were probably 35 mph winds... not 60+ like the sign shows... :biggrin_25512:

In the meantime, MT, ND are being totally covered with snow.... I am so glad I changed my route...
It's been a nice day here... Going to bed soon... Y'all stay safe out there....

Drove thru about 4-6 inches of snow for about 200 miles on US10 and 71 in Minnesota last night.
Rest area on 29 just south of Sioux City grilling a burger and some corn. Headed to the warmth.
