Been to Laredo, don’t really see much need to go back. I’ve heard a lot of people claim to get stranded there waiting for a load out. Guess I’ve been lucky, I’ve never had that problem.

    carramrod32 Thanks this.

I hope it works out for him, but I've already noticed that he's had to psych himself up for flatbed.

    "It'll be good excercise, etc..."

Me thinks those tarps will wear on him in pretty short order. And, I won't blame him for leaving that nonsense (when he does).

I fully admit I HATED flatbed. Lol

Lonesome, tow614 and carramrod32 Thank this.

I like the pnuematic, It's still a lot better then dry van, reefer would plain suck, flat bed would be a challange securing the load correctly,
My New Volvo had the same electronic glitch this morning 5 miles from the yard, I turned around and took an older Mack to do my run. They took the Volvo to the dealer to see if they can fix it. It's acted up 4 times and it's not throwing a code, I lose the speedometer, it shifts way too early and it has no power, I dunno

Did something today I have never done in 15 years of driving.
Picking up a load from our yard to deliver 150 miles away.
Bobtail over to my loaded trailer and back under it. It is raining so when I get the paperwork out of the nose box i glance at it to check the weights and put it in my truck.
I hook up and pretrip the trailer then do my loaded call quickly and head out.
When I get to the receiver and hand security my paperwork the guy says, " this ain't for us"..
I took the bills and look.. sure enough...wrong trailer... In my haste i backed under the trailer beside the one I was supposed to get...
Everyone was cool with it but the correct load had to be rescheduled winning me my first service failure.
My dm got a big laugh out of it and told me he wasn't going to let me off without ribbing me for a few days...all in fun...
Glad it was a short run though...

Lonesome, truckerman75103 and tucker Thank this.

I've been saying for probably about 20 years that you're a service failure.

    J/k lol
