Yes, I am a swifty, going on 8 months. I keep the truck in the center of the right lane and usually do one or two pull ups on 90's. Yet I am constantly getting disrespect on the road. Just today, the right lane was ending after a hill, left lane was clear (3 lanes total)...I had my blinker on for a good 30 seconds and a peterbuild didn't move over, making me slow down to about 5 mph.
I always flash people at night when they pass me slow, about 10% give me a thank you, even less in Texas.
Is this cause I drive for swift? Or do a lot of drivers not care about anyone else but themselves. Do any Werner, prime or Schneider drivers find themselves getting treated poorly on the road?

I admit I discriminate against Swift. Don’t extend courtesy. So yes it’s your company name on your truck. Not you personally. Maybe I should work on it.

Yea I figured it's cause swift, but a lot of us are just rookies trying to get into the industry.
Swift lives matter lol -

Did he have a car in the left lane riding along side of him? Was it a No trucks left lane area?
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
It does have to do with the name on your truck. Weather you have 5 days or 15 years experience when you’re backing next time with that name on your TT my phone is out and recording. Just how the game goes
Steel Dragon and Mudguppy Thank this. -
Just kidding. I'm sure there's some fools who would try to mess with you just because of the name on the truck but only some.
Sometimes you just get stuck in the wrong spot but for the most part you should be able to predict and deal with the lane ending situation before it gets to that point.
Just putting your blinker on isn't a magic solution to create space. With a little experience you'll learn how to avoid getting caught out there.Dan.S, Toomanybikes, Steel Dragon and 1 other person Thank this. -
Steel Dragon and bigkev1115 Thank this.

Probably my biggest problem with Swift is when you guys wait until the last minute needing to get in front of me to take the upcoming exit, and the signs are posted for that particular exit 2 miles back

Off topic but I saw a Swift truck pull out of the Iowa 80 in Oak Grove, MO fuel aisle tonight with the pump still in his truck! Just drove around the parking lot with the entire fuel hose dragging along.
BigBob410, Grubby, Toomanybikes and 8 others Thank this.
