Permatex Anti sieze on ratchet binders
Fluid film on winches has lanolin in it helps out your dry old hands also.
Going to try out the dish soap !

    HalpinUout Thanks this.

I use gear oil for almost everything. 80w is always laying around somewhere.

It's certainly easy to spot someone who uses WD-40 on their firearms. That doesn't work very well.

    Mudguppy and Lepton1 Thank this.

Me too. The bottles have that long tip that works well for oiling a ratchet.

I like pb blaster. Yes almost any oil will provide a little lubrication but the thicker the oil the more dirt and nastier they are to work with.

    Lepton1 and HalpinUout Thank this.

I say it too much and people probably get sick of it and I even use it as one and it does give results but, wd40 is not a lube. I used to use WD-40 to put rubber hand grips on the handle bars of my dirt bike. Spray them good and slid em right on once it evaporated they'd be stuck pretty good. But then again I sprayed the squeaking front door with it 6 months ago and it's still quite

Lepton1, HalpinUout and Oxbow Thank this.
