I work for a little company and the boss thinks he is right. Suprise. I guess i will just tell him I wont drive after 12/18. Two other drivers will say the same. he only has 5.

    You mean",What do I Propose?"

I Propose To stand up strong against what a person feels is wrong.

If your Against an ELD- You don't get 1-Simple as that- im Certainly Not joining this barrage of corruption.
I'll change my operational points before I Give in to a liberated unlawful rule far from making any sense.

    That's What I Propose,

I don’t think we’re getting them. Most our trucks stay within 100 miles. I’m the only one who doesn’t. I’m still going to run when I want regardless.

When you start paying for fines/insurance/equipment capital then you can call the shots.

Let's see how long you last without a paycheck (unemployment line is that way -------->

    Bul!!
If the company will not run legal then as a company driver it's not only my duty to NOT run, but it's my license if I get caught. This is no different than refusing to run with a bald tire ir an air line broken....

lol...I must've misread his original position.

I thought he was anti-eld (and his boss was pro-eld).

    my bad.

My company's customers mandated that all of our trucks (about 25) have them by mid November. We don't have to turn them on until the deadline. They want to make sure that the company is compliant and that there won't be any disruption in service over it.

That didn't Affect me the same way an ELD does..Not even Close in comparison- Your comment holds little water, CDL same as my chauffers just 15 dollars more.
