Running with JCT, Part Deux

Dang. The price of fuel at the Maverick in Holbrook jumped 8 cents to $2.659. For some reason the app is reporting the price at $2.639, but that is the price with the Maverick card.

I did sign up for it online so I can get the 2 cents off. They have another card called Nitro. That one links to your bank account and works just like a debt card only at Maverick. And it also has all the same benefits as the other but with 6 cents off per gallon on fuel instead of 2 cents. I may or may not sign up for that one.

 

You sure that was Knoxville??? Briley is in Nashville. Sysco is just north of the Western Express Main Terminal.

 

Cali just shoved a 20 cent surcharge on fuel.

 

So the terminal has a semi-permanent food truck now station right outside of the driver entrance near orientation. From what I was told so take this with a grain of salt, is they are seeing how profitable he would be working there and if he works out then they may see about building a more permanent Grill type thing so we would have the option of breakfast lunch and dinner there without having to order out for pizza or Chinese.



8 bucks massive burger fries and a drink. Was mucho bueno.

So, I inside the truck stop to use the ATM to pull a little fuel rebate money off my fuel card (I normally transfer the money once a month). While I go through the steps to get the money (after the pin number) I notice that off to my side there is another driver standing there with his hands out.

I turn my head to look at him and he's says he waiting for money while chuckling. I don't have a sense of humor when it comes to my money, but at the same didn't want to start a big show if I didn't need to. So I responded with you can keep on waiting.

Thankfully he walked away.

 

I used to have the Nitro card whenever I worked for iwx because I would drive between Kingman and Bullhead City twice a week so I fuel up at the Maverick in Golden Valley.

I think the wife still uses the Nitro card. Then again she gets crazy discounts from Safeway bonus and Smith's grocery store bonus. I think she was getting a dollar a gallon off there for a while.

I guess that means I should try entering in my phone number next time I fuel up there because if I had the Nitro card that means I already have a rewards account...

 

He wanted to be you're best friend. He wanted to play in you're pocket. Nah for real with no sympathy I tell everyone f off. You ain't getting nothing from me. Maybe cancer from 2nd hand smoke but definitely no denerio.
