I worked for them about 2 months, owners are Bosnian but to my surprise fairly cool and good people. They were raised in U.S. The load planner and dispatch, only one of each were not good enough at their jobs for me to deal with. Load planner cut loads to close to allow for road conditions while running an elog, dispatch didn't communicate enough IMO.

Ran across this post and thought I'd chip in. Blitz is one of the better companies to drive for in the DFW area. They try to keep you moving, but you need to be a self starter. They don't try to micromanage you, they expect you to know how to get the job done. They run mainly the Midwest and southeast region, so I don't see how "road conditions " should have affected you very much. I worked for them when they first started the company, and I know they've grown since then. Just by you only giving it 2 months I can see you didn't really put a lot of effort into it. BTW, they are from Croatia, been living here about 10 years after immigrating because of war in their country.

Now you're comparing apples to oranges. Oilfield is very good pay...while it lasts. But not much free time, and you have to go where the work is.
