I agree. Did you see how much stuttering he did while he told the truth.

It's impossible to stutter when telling factual figures.

Hey, maybe electric is the future. It’s just not appealing with fuel being reasonable and very little electric charging infrastructure. Plus, a majority of mechanics have no idea how to repair it. If the trucking industry was clamoring for savings, every truck would have super singles, fairings and skirts, apu’s, etc. We live in a supply and demand market and that’s what dictates the rates, not an electric gimmick truck that costs the same per mile. Shippers and receivers don’t care about being green. A lot of people driving smart cars are virtue signaling types with a false sense of superiority.

Have you noticed how a lot of these autonomous vehicles are effeminate? Maybe they are appealing to the non binary fluid gender types as their customer? The people who generate a lot of income by protesting. Nice needle nose, by the way:thumbup:

This is what Elon Musk missed.

ZERO to 60 in a fully loaded trailer is not going to win when it comes to the bottom line.

Those claims for damaged products will be so high, these electric truck buyers will wince every time the insurance bill shows up

What in the flying #### are you talking about? Just because they're not built like a brick doesn't make them effeminate. Most of the tesla cars have 0-60 times under 3 seconds and the new roadster is 1.9 seconds and sub 8s on the 1/4 mile. Aside from Tesla's offerings pollution is a huge ongoing issue that will screw us all if we don't deal with it. Stop your Trump virtue signaling and join the real world where we deal with facts instead of identity politics.

Calm down. I didn’t mention the Tesla car, I was referring to some of these goofy looking autonomous cars like Google made and that shuttle that crashed. Besides, i was responding to what Doublewiggle said, noticed how I quoted him???Clear enough?

The shuttle didn't crash. A driver who wasn't paying attention backed into it.

There has been several threads on this. Maybe the Mods can start merging.

Ive already inputted many things on my end.

I'll pass on the Tesla, Nikola right now provides a alternative. I don't see anyone else in America building a heavy class 8 truck that is a alternative.

You are correct, a truck backing into a tight alley hit it with his right steer tire. If you pull into a blind spot within inches of a vehicle that tends to happen, especially when the person doing the backing has done it countless times without incident. He got complacent. Hey, I know, let’s put automatic neck brace dispensers on these autonomous vehicles when they do something stupid and get hit. Then the news can report how it’s the human’s fault and autonomous cars are above reproach.
