so if your post gets overlooked,, then a simple reminder would work better...
It just so happened the Tablets got a OTA and map/software update, so this is the first user that posted and I wanted to make sure they were not having issues as my test unit is and I am working with RM to resolve....
I am trying to determine if your DC Cord is bad or it is the unit... Since you have not tried the AC cord, then that should be your next step.
You did not answer my question... do you unplug the DC cord all the time? If it is plugged into the slice the USB port on the tablet should be fine... I don't know where you plugged it in at all... tablet or slice?
To power it by DC... are you using the DC cord or plugging into a USB Bullet?
You say it will not turn on, yet you also say it only runs 3 hours on battery... so, will it turn on or not?
Thanks,
Mark

jmroadhog Thanks this.

If you care, you can call RM CS on Monday.. -
Before it quit working the battery would only last about three hours so it was always plugged in using the DC cord from truck to mount.
After it quit working I tried the DC cord from truck to mount and truck to tablet using three different plugs in truck. -
As far as the update is concerned, I have not had an update for 2 - 3 weeks. Not sure when the update you are talking about came out.
-
If it does not power on using the AC cord, depending on how long ago they repaired it, it may still be under warranty... RM CS will have to look that up.
Thanks,

Rule 2... see rule 1
Coming on here and making a comment like you did does not earn brownie points with me. I will bend over backwards for drivers and work all hours of the night or day for them...
I don't know how you post on other Threads, but in the Support Thread we act like adults....
So, the past if forgiven... but also understand I don't have to explain myself as to where I am or what I am doing... but for common courtesy I will post if I will be offline for more than a day..Corporal_Clegg and jmroadhog Thank this.
