This is a small reefer outfit. Drop by for a chat and ask if he will hire you out of cdl school. I heard the guy is easy going.
You need something that's "driver no-touch" freight, with your physical problems.
    Look at these also:
    Freymiller
    James H. Clark & Son
    Contract Freighters Inc.

    Dan.S Thanks this.

Well I'm definitely no expert, but in my research so far, Jim Palmer might be an option for you to (unless you want to run in the east). They run on the west side anywhere usually west of the Mississippi River and Ohio. They claim that if you live in the west there around your area there's more opportunity to get you home when you request it.

I have been considering Jim Palmer in addition to CFI and Prime.

And more long term, I've been eye balling Old Dominion. :D

I forgot to ask you if they do paid training for Werner here in Vegas?

I'm just looking into all my options. I can't do anything for the next 30 day's + cause my meds ARE opiates. It will a bit to get through all the crap I know I will have to endure to clean up. I was clean when I wasn't working as a mechanic and the very day I started back wrenching again, the pain meds were back in hand. Don't have a problem staying clean as long as I don't have to get physical. To be honest, Aleve works great for my back pain. Its my leg that hurts like hell.

In the mean time, I've got a CDL handbook to study. My neighbor drives a flatbed, he backed down our street a few days ago. I think I'll ask him to maybe help me with things like the pretrip inspection. He's pretty cool. Help me move a 3000lb mill into my garage, helped me move a couple of lathes.

Werner doesn't have paid training. They may have tuition reimbursement program, but so do many other companies.
