I would take it, but only on the stipulation that he will have an appointment for delivery no later than Tuesday morning or he will be getting charged a premium for each day the load sites on the deck
But that's just me, im sure others would have other ideas

ok, look......If I was planning to take the week off anyway, sure, why not.
However, the real deal killer in this higleypigley, is the no appointment set at this time........you're going to Walmart and that appointment might be yet another week out. Massive screw job.
But, yeah, if I wasn't planning on going out until next week anyway, why not. Get a solid appointment first though.CDL CPL Thanks this. -
Its cool enough out to were I don't have to run the reefer, so I'm not gonna be using any extra fuel, but this has happend before I was all ready to go get loaded and then he calls me up and says he can't set up an appointment and that they're going to cancel the load.rate was signed and all

So you basically have seen this "movie" before, so you know how it ends. Too many red flags, too many unkowns, and too many risks, that can make the $4,000.00 not worth it.
Klleetrucking and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Load it, take it to delivery, tell them they have 4 hours before you brake dump it.
austinmike and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Until you know what the full transaction entails, how can you know it's good money?
If they want the truck to sit for 3 weeks, it's horrible pay. You really need to see the full contract before taking it. Well unless you don't mind taking a gamble....
