Anyone in that region does a lot of Atlanta. Between feeding 7101 and all the stores it is a huge market.

So what's the hiring radius and what DC are you out of it? Do you like it?

250 miles I think. And yeah or I would not be here. Although my last DC almost had me gone.

They are no where near as cookie cutter as you would think.

I have seen a GTM removed for not supporting the driver group though. I have seen the efforts made to make the shift coming less miserable (nobody like change, drivers even less). I am treated with respect.

Coming in on extra board can be rough. But if you have a good OPS team they will try and keep truck swaps to a minimum.

I work out of Hoptown now. Today I am in Bentonville. Tomorrow I will most likely be in Searcy. My attitude is the truck says Wal-Mart, the stores Wal-Mart, the DCs say Wal-Mart. So long as I am rolling and making money we are all good. Plus we get the opportunity to do some awesome work with Wal-Mart Heart and Wreaths Across America. I did the run last year so leaving myself out this one. But it was an honor to honor our fallen.

Spoken like a true recruiter. Starting out at .38 measly cents per mile is also rough.

Walmart is on a mission to hire as many new .38 cent per mile bandits to fill them seats. If you guys really want to work at Walmart, you should wait and see what next year brings. If WMT is so awesome why are Drivers dropping like flies in Sanger, Tx & Palestine Tx. I know 3 guys that have quit and went to work for Sherwin Williams. This 06 guy sounds like a company inside man for Walmart. Undercover Driver?

Are there cpm raises on anniversary? Were there before the pay changes and will they continue or is that another change?

Not sure on how the anniversary raises for new guys will work. Neither does anyone else posting.
I got my anniversary raise in Oct. Beat to ask the HR Manager if you get that far in the process. No one in management will discuss new driver pay with current drivers. It is part of what is fueling all the b.s. posted. Not real sure what they get out of it, must work for Swift or Punkin trying to save their driver pool.

Management has stated they will stay at 38 cpm and get the generous 1 percent. Go back to bed recruiter.
