Like the title states, I’ve always had an interest in this line of work. I love to exercise, in particular weight training, and I’m a trucker that prefers local work with many stops vs. a long haul.

I have almost 7 years experience with 2 companies. I’ve done fuel hauling, dry bulk, transfer and bottom dumps, and asphalt oil tanker.

I will be relocating to Eastern Washington (Spokane) next year. I’ve seen a few ads for flatbed work. How is the freight in that area? Anyone know of any local, by the hour companies? There are several here where I currently live but they are too far for me to commute to. I’m looking for daycab flatbed work- I know that it’s rare but it does exist. Thank you!

I jump around like Spiderman and throw a 100lb tarp around and I would not have it any other way. I would enjoy tarping a 7' tall load alone in a blizzard over any other type of trucking.

    Just my 2 cents....

System transport. I'm happy with them. But I run the Texas regional, and it's probably different. I know they got all kinds of things to do up there.

You may want to give Central Oregon Trucking Company a call. Good company based on the left coast.

If you want to run west coast regional or otr/ 80% I5. Try Leavitts in Springfield Oregon. Also look at COTC I think in Redmond Oregon I see them on I5 every day.
