I graduated from cdl school on the 18th of November.I have all of my endorsements.Trained on a 10 speed manual.I did my schooling on the weekends cause I still have my full time job.I have been at my job for over 20 years and I think its time to move on.I do not have to be in a hurry on finding a company but I want to find "I hope" that is right for my family and me.I am looking for a regional position.
I have applied at several companies.I am down to 4 to 5 companies. The ones I have applied too and fit what I am looking for,in no particular order,deBoer,NDL,Ozark Motor Lines, and Super Service. They all have good points.I have looked into the food service companies but they have you go onto job boards at first and I am afraid that their would be days with no work.I know you got to do your time.
I am looking for input on companies that I have listed and maybe some other companies that I might not have thought of.I appreciate any info that you give. Thanks.
Figuring out what company to go with.

Good luck and also post your location.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Check their csa score to see if they are good. Poor score usually means poor price per mile. Check out any reviews on them. That really helps

Nick Strimbu Inc. has regional and is Teamsters Union. They're headquartered in Ohio. Choice of refrigerated or flatbed.
Yes, they hire new cdl grads. I think they're already replacing their trucks with new Peterbilt's.
