Sounds like you are relocating to dispatch, health and safety or some other desk pilot position
Loss of conscious is serious.Another Canadian driver, Scott909, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
All I can say is make ready for the billing office. MRI's here in the states start at 16000 for one hour when I had the two in my case. But not for seizures.
Im pretty sure you can appreciate and respect the reason why there is a ban for driving with that sort of health problem in your history. I also encourage you to consider that 47 is not the end of the world. You can learn new things to do.
But it seems you are hit really hard in the mind right now. I suggest you rest easy and decompress a few weeks. You are probably going to be reassigned to a desk work or dismissed.Another Canadian driver and Scott909 Thank this. -
Thank u for ur feedback mate.
Yes, I'm sure the bank gonna take a hit, though_(taken for granted)
we do have Medicare which covers % of certain things.
I do appreciate reasoning by authorities in regard to seizures.
But a 5year blanket ban for heavy vehicle whereas 6 month for car/passenger.
I love what I do and proud to provide the family.
But your right mate I've taken it hard.
I will rest easy and "decompress" a few weeks.
Safe journeys trucka...Another Canadian driver and wore out Thank this.
