I checked the electronics thread but didn't see what I was looking for. I am in the market for a new dash cam. IMO it's one of the most important pieces of equipment on the truck. My current system worked well but only lasted a couple of years. I was using a web cam mounted on the dash and wired into my laptop. Also using a Uniden home security system with an infra red camera mounted on each mirror facing to the rear.

The rear facing cameras record what was going on beside the truck and the web cam allowed me to save videos to the hard drive of customer entrances (some are pretty tricky) and let drivers who haven't been there before have an idea of what to do when they get there.

Is there a system that has three cameras?

Is there a system that has three cameras?[/QUOTE]

I have a 4 camera hard wired system. It is not easily removed so may not good for company drivers. It has four cameras, one forward facing mounted inside the cab, one on each side near the steer tires rear facing and one mounted on the rear by the trailer liscense plate.
I have had it roughly a year and have been happy with it. A 32gb memory card will save footage for approximately 7 days. It uses very little power so I leave it running 24/7. I have a 7" monitor sitting on the dash that allows a split screen to view all 4 cameras or can view one camera on the whole screen. It allows me to check my blind spots on all sides without taking my eyes off the road.
Amazon sells a system very similar for quite a bit less than I paid. I paid roughly $600 but if it prevents one fraudulent insurance claim it is worth ten times what I paid. The side cameras are flush mounted and are not shown in this picture, but are aerodynamic in design.

I have the Street Guardian from the video above. Pretty happy with it.
