    Like everyone else said, take your time, keep plenty of following distance and don't make any quick turns on the wheel. We were all new once, just don't over drive your ability and you'll be fine.

    Where are you going in Ithaca? I live between there and Syracuse. May be able to help. Which way are you going to Ithaca? (I81 North to I 86 West to Rt 13 North?)

    Should have mentioned that I am familiar with Ithaca to some degree. Make deliveries there myself from time to time.

    5 inches taint nothing. It's enough to get your spurs broken in.

    Now North and East of Albany for the foreseeable future calls for two feet on the spine of the mountain ranges up into Nova Scotia in the entire NE.

    Lake effect between Erie to Buffalo will be big time.

    I deliver to Eddydale farm stand on Elmira road I believe it is. To get there I take 81N to 13S. It's not that bad except Seneca street is a little tight with tractor and a 53 foot trailer. I just an alternate route 81N to 11N I believe. I might try that to see if it's a little more truck friendly. I appreciate any advice on routes or anything you can give me.

    Buffalo is no joke. I didn't mean to seem so panicky it just seems like the farther North I get in New York the nastier the weather can get. It seems like it snows 24/7 up there.
