when someone comes in rambling along without using punctuation or paragraphs instantly everyone thinks tht person is a moron do you really want to help a moron can you really help a moron so much is lost because this person is too lazy to construct a sentence its like the hysterical woman in the disaster movies that needs to be slapped they always have that woman that needs to be slapped then again they always have that cowardly guy that creates problems and gets killed too when they come in rambling just point them to carolinacargo
THEN YOU HAVE THE PERSON WHO TYPES LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME, EVERY WORD. EVEN IF HE USES PUNCTUATION, THE RAMBLER IS MORE PREFERABLE TO READ FROM. YOU SAY SOMETHING TO HIM ABOUT THE CAP LOCK AND HE GETS AN ATTITUDE. YOU COME IN FOR HELP AND WHEN SOMEONE POINTS OUT SOMETHING, YOU GET AN ATTITUDE? WELL, THATS FINE TOO. THE PERSON POINTING OUT THE CAPS LOCK DOESNT NEED HELP. AND THE PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP YOU PROBABLY WONT. HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO EVER IMPROVE YOUR SITUATION IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO COMMUNICATE PROPERLY?

Words are powerful. Especially online.

When the first word in a sentence is Like...as in "Like there I was driving down the road"...you know absolutely and without a doubt that you're dealing with a millenial. Or maybe a product of California's public school system.
Toomanybikes, longbedGTs, Dan.S and 2 others Thank this. -
The first call I get from safety about someone calling in on me will be the last call I get from safety about someone calling in on me.
-
Safety takes those calls with a grain of salt as well because everyone that calls in was ----
"NEARLY KILLED MY ENTIRE FAMILY BY THIS HOMICIDAL MANIAC DRIVER. I SAVED MY FAMILY FROM HIM" -
spyder7723 and TripleSix Thank this.

Had some guy call in on one of our trucks recently. Left a message saying a strap or something flew off one of our trucks and cracked his windshield, in AR. Only problem with that is that we didn't have any trucks in AR and haven't in several years. He was cussing and ranting how he was prepared to sue and had my DOT number. I just ignored it and never heard anything else.
The thing about this is, anybody can call in on you for anything, if if you didn't do anything. Most of the megas with just pay them off if pressed.Toomanybikes, TripleSix and Dan.S Thank this. -
nax Thanks this.

Ask for the following from the person from within your company that called you: name, title, length of time they've been with the company and employee number. Once they give you that information tell them this is going into their permanent file then hang up.
