If you are workaholic like you say you should go get class A and roll a lot! I really like my little set up but I hate not running every day. Although I work every single day looking for loads, thinking about my truck, taking it in for this or that.

The toughest part for me was not having any organized schedule and having to work in my office....I hate sitting still. I am over it now and I work around the chaos.

yes flatbed only...I have and will run again for Landstar but no I am not leased with anyone company. I have a good amount of freight but not enough to keep me away from a office. I would be curious too I guess.....I like running totally random but running for one company could be cool too.

I kinda looked in to Kappa but have not reached out yet.

@Firemandan1807 If you're still around, yes you can make a great career of expediting in a straight truck. If you haven't been to expediters online, I suggest you do so, and look up a member called ATeam. He and his wife made a great run at FXCC, then moved to LEAM and did even better. It's all in selling yourself and your truck at Landstar, along with getting in with good agents.

I've done expedite in a straight for 15 yrs out of the last 22. I moved to t/t for the challenge. But with the right company I could do expedite again. I just like what I'm doing now.

    Good luck to you!
