dude I looked at your link and I already no about the laws and restrictions. The people including myself simply posted what his restrictions would be. HE said he was looking for minimum class A With a dodge truck. People generally associate a class A with a 18 wheeler. Dodge trucks don't have air brakes, most are automatic. IF you want a class A to drive everything than yes you need a semi truck.I don't know if your trying to make a ridiculous argument over it or not but dam its too late to go on any further with this with you
Op to your second question, yes you can take cdl with airbrakes truck and over 10k trailer with electric brakes. Again, you will be semi restricted

And again there is not a "no semi" restriction for a license!
There is a 5th wheel restriction (O) though. Plenty of class A vehicles in the hotshot world use 5th wheels.
As for the truck airbrake question, I would say it still would get the air brake restriction, as the restriction says "no full air brake" (L) I would still call the dmv to verify though. -

Again though, I agree that some state somewhere might have a different restriction. Do you know what state the "no semi" was issued in? -
Georgia and South Carolina
