Does anyone know of tanker companies either dry bulk or liquid that are GOOD companies to work or and hire out of southeast TX.

I talked with A&R, they aren't hiring anyone, JB Kelly, they are a bit to far and say I could expect to be gone 3 weeks (that's too long for me) and a few others who are not hiring. Seems like the better companies are not hireing.

The Houston area is very strong on bulk shipping. When I worked for Chemical Leaman they had 6 terminals in and around Houston, if thats the SE part of Texas your talking about. They are part of Quality Carriers now. The Houston phone book should turn up a bunch of bulk carriers. If I can remember any specific co's I'll post them here. There are also a lot of bulk carriers in SW Louisiana.

The only one I can think of is TWT (Tide Water Transit). Not sure if they have a terminal close to you though. I know of them cause my Dad drove for them and they treated him good.

I stretched my memory a bit and came up with this. DSI, Liquid Transporters, Mission Petroleum, Schneider Bulk, Coastal, Andrews, Miller Transporters, and Bulkmatic all had terminals in the Houston area. I think Superior and Trimac also had terminals there.

Enterprise what? You need to be more specific. Tell us exactly what the name of the company is. It could benefit a lot of people on here.
