Burgers are on the menu for tonight. If you ever want a fantastic brine for chops, just ask. We do a huge batch of them at a time to have plenty of leftovers. They are juicy and flavorful, yet still taste like pork. Brats, steaks, smoked chicken (1.5 hours on the smoker then finished on the grill). The turkey is next. We usually deep fry them, but would love to smoke one. We also need to do brisket.

Amazed at the resistance to change. Change is seldom popular, but I look forward to still having this 'terrible' job in ten years...I'll bet K-Mart employees wished their company had adapted to the constant changing market and economy. If it gets to the point that I'm not happy here, I'll leave. But I'm still happy, still doing very well (I do GM primarily, not grocery, though we do get grocery loads often enough), so I guess people can call me names or say I'm full of it...I know what my greenbar says, and it puts a big smile on my face every payday.

Oh, one question...to all you complaining and saying you can make more somewhere else and be home every day...why are you still here?

I'm not so sure some of the complainers are actually still employed by WMT Trans. LLC ?

I know many who are. The same 'old timers' sitting in the breakroom complaining about how much money they're losing...but last I checked, we don't get paid to sit around griping about things, and...they're still here.

They can make all the changes they want but why go after driver’s pay when they’re announcing record positive news almost weekly? What a bunch of snakes in Bentonville. That’s the horse manure part that doesn’t sit well with me.

This is kinda disappointing, especially since some people in upper management are getting a huge "bonus" equaling 8 figures.

Definitely not practicing what you preach or good for moral
