25 y.o. misdemeanor - is it even possible to get a truck job ?

I was given a warning for the passenger being in passion of alcohol and out of service for 24 hrs . I didn't know they had it, but on my PSP report it says that I had it. I was fired by the company, now I'm out of a job and no one will hire me. Can I get this off my record? Will I ever get a job?

 

Takes 3yrs to fall off report.

 

Is there a company out there that would overlook this ?

None that are worth going to. Take your lumps and wait it out. I am not going to ask the details of it, chalk it up to a lesson learned about who you associate with in the future.

 

I met a driver who told me he did 18 years in prison because he had a "bad temper". Do you think a 25 year old misdemeanor will keep you from getting hired?

I have an active warrant out of co, for ppo violation while going thru a divorce. (returned a phone call) doh!
I havent had any problems getting hired on , just wont go to colorado.

For the record i would and probally will take care of it one day, lawyer told me I would have to fly to co and have to do 30- 90 days in jail . My response well maybe in a year i ll think about it wanna work out and take some karate classes first!
