Dropped 02 in Middlesex, NY and ran up to Kent to pick up. Been running in the sticks, my kinda stuff.

Jesus, as if parking wasn't bad enough before the mandate came into play. Totally overrun at 1800, when weekdays usually not that bad here, especially that early. Snagged THE LAST reserve spot available. Normally do not do that, but considering situation, needed to grab what I could. Would have gotten creative, but everyone & their mother was already getting creative EVERYWHERE. LOL!

Knew the mandate was going to royally aggravate an already untenable situation, but actually now seeing what I fully expected. Crazy, crazy, crazy......!

The carnage HAS begun! Lord save us us all..........! The apocalypse for truckers has now begun.......

Sorry to say, it's going to get nothing but more difficult from this point forward folks.

One full day left running on 70 when I get recap tonight. Only 4hrs back the next. Can't do much w/that.

Could run another full day, but will just wind up sitting another day waiting for only 4hrs. With at least 12hrs anticipated off till next dispatch, I'd rather sit now & get it in and become whole to run rampant again, rather than sit again tomorrow to gain only 4hrs & continue running on sporadic recaps.

Used to rocking those recaps when solo for weeks on end, but sometimes..... all in the situation.

You see the traffic triangle? If you can. Bobtail that toward Orange. Just a little down the way. There is a Chinese restaurant. I used to eat there often in the summer of 78. Really nice people. Had little children. The Children are 39 years older now. .... Doh!
I was working at Levingston Shipbuilding... Doing installs of electronics. One I did was the Glomar Atlantic.... Look it up on the net.... Very very interesting.... owned by the CIA. (Global Drilling)

Came out from Noel, MO after yet another transloaded trailer & of course, they overloaded balance by far & had to rework on top of it.

4th trailer I have had to have transloaded in last 3wks due to various issues.

Has been a month that will exceed all in the record books. Beyond belief & all comprehension.

Now, enough already! Whomever DOES have that voodoo doll of me and/or my truck....... I give, I GIVE.....!!

 

Feel for ya bud. I'm sitting over in Rapid. We're going below zero tonight. Won't come back above tomorrow.
