I'm talking about carrier to carrier. Not broker to broker

Every question I asked girl had to call somewhere else to get an answerW900AOwner, Oxbow, snowman_w900 and 2 others Thank this. -
TQL gave me a load on a Friday for Monday pick up and said they would not release carrier info until Monday.
I said 5 minutes or take me off the load.
This whole game is turning me in to a monster and I don't like it.
Send me to a shipper that is strict appointments only and you did not make one? Smell you later....and you get billed for 850 day rate. Don't pay it? I block your number, blast you on DAT and google locations. The google reviews (via locations on google maps) seems to get their attention very very quickly.
Sorry for the rant but man just one bad broker can send me down a path of I don't care if I succeed or fail but it won't be because of you *&^%*&@!
I would never do carrier to carrier...sounds like a pain.Last edited: Dec 22, 2017

I leased to landstar pulling van 2014-2016
I got pissed and started doing power-only.
Too many of the same loads on the board posted by multiple agents. Then they get it from another brokerage and so on. There’s good and bad at landstar but the unethical double broker bs will be flat out denied by any landstar agent. Landstar has most of those van drivers living on the advances or just barely getting by. -
On the plus side.......
When you work up the courage to cut the #### and go talk directly to the customer ...... It is easy for you to be the first one they call seeing as you aren't going to bull #### around. I'll be there at this time to pick it up and I'll deliver it at this time and this is the amount. Kapisch? Kapisch. Happy customer. Happy trucking. Makes it real easy.mitmaks, Tug Toy, W900AOwner and 2 others Thank this. -
as long as the carriers are safe and paid fast,it usually works out well.Trip lease is about the same as double brokering, and some of my usual broker knew what we was doing. The guys had to send copies of their insurance to them and then we was good to goOxbow Thanks this. -
