Only me...? Wow... and I thought you had met many other folks here...
I have met some.... but only once... and no friendship ever came out of those...
Except Mr. @otherhalftw... met him a few times in CA.. and the last time... he got me a great parking spot near my receiver and then took me to meet his lovely wife and see his huge home and land... :biggrin_25519:
Also met Mr. @RedForeman a few times.... I call him sometimes when I need some expert opinion on something with the truck and he is always very kind and helpful... :biggrin_25519:
Ah... and yeah... and I met a former member... he and his wife who team drives with him... He and I keep in contact... he always drives at night and sometimes we keep each other awake on the phone.... :biggrin_25519: He called me the other day to wish me Merry Christmas.... He has invited me several times to go visit them at home when I pass by his town... but I'm always in a hurry... and they are always running as well...

The engine is set relatively low, and even lower in the 2018s. The doghouse is relatively unobtrusive, and since it's a daycab, I don't need any walking around room. Mine is the only 2017 we have, and the only short hood we have. My wheelbase and overall length is about a foot shorter, so I have a slight advantage in town. I suspect mine is dialed up a little more than the others as well, every driver that has borrowed it when I'm off and theirs is getting serviced says mine outruns all the others there as far as acceleration and climbing power. I can keep up with the same load as our DD15 sleepers. It's actually a nice little ride. I had a chance at the new ones, and I passed.

He’s supposed to swing by and use the hot washer to degrease the underside of his new ride, but I doubt I’ll see him till it warms up a little.
