If you go into one of the five boroughs in NYC you have a 80% chance of turning down a street that you have no business going down. NYPD will help you back out of them if you call for help. I have used this service before. They are used to it.

I’m nervous every time I pack the truck up and head out. It’s normal. -
In most cities, that's simply taking an interstate to an industrial park exit, then driving a couple miles at most to where you need to be.
That said, you should always be careful about driving in cities. As a new driver that will translate into being worried. With experience, you graduate to being concerned and more cautious.
If you still have a fear reaction when city driving after a few months on the road, it might be better for your health to find another job that won't kill you with ulcers.Lepton1 Thanks this.
