    Buddy of mine bought himself a truck so he can go heavy hauling. I may have dry humped the fuel tank a little when he wasn't looking.

    Sussex county Delaware was using the old “rural route” postal system, at least I GUESS that’s what you could call that.

    One of my co-workers had one he couldn’t find out in Millsboro, so he went to the post office who didn’t have a clue. They said “you’d have to talk to the driver who delivers that route”.

    That went away after 9/11 though.

    We had a spate of deliveries to a pipeline project.
    All for different Contractors, delivered to the sites main gate, with NO IDEA who the ordering contractor is. We got to know the security guards pretty well for a while.

    Big jobsites suck. I started getting into the habit of looking at the freight itself at my prior stop so that I could tell the general contractor what the material was. If it was electrical stuff, for example, he could call the subcontractor for that part of the job. Of course it helps if the paperwork gives you a hint.
