Oh boohoo. They should plan ahead and not wait til the last minute.
misterG, 207nomad, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This is a missort, not necessarily a DOT HOS problem.
It is common to need more time to deliver a package around the holidays.
What I do not like is that sometimes the local distribution of UPS tosses the package into a problem rack to be picked up in exactly a one hour customer service frame between 4 and 5 PM on Wedensdays or some other restricted dates of the week.
Im also inclined to agree with Sublime. Boo hoo indeed. It will get there when it gets there. If they wanted it faster they should have ordered Amazon. -
I didn't see anything in that story about delays due to hours of service issues, but rather misdirected packages due to understaffed hubs and distribution centers.

Ups knew about this when we all heard about it, it wasn't the reason my packages didn't need arrive on time, the drop shipping place didn't process the items until four days after the orders were placed.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
How odd the problem happened immediately AFTER the mandate. Some of you boys are in denial

The problem would've occurred even without the mandate.
misterG Thanks this. -
gentleroger, misterG and Blackshack46 Thank this.
