    And then half those millionaires over extend themselves and are back to being a working class stiff at the next recession. I'd be retired right now if not for that tough life lesson i got in 2007.

    I'm talking OTR, most pay $0.35-$0.50 a mile for experienced drivers.
    Go 110,000 miles that's $38,500-$55,000 to live in a truck

    I get what you are saying. But the only one that forces guys to take those low paying jobs is their own track record of poor decisions that eliminates them from the good jobs or being to stubborn to relocate.

    that's just what OTR pays. You could have 10 years experience, perfect record and most OTR carriers won't break .50 a mile for you.

    Correction. Most mega otr carrier's. Plenty of otr tanker outfits pay more. Same with open deck.
