Yes, and that's the problem. Now been sitting after dropping a load for 5 hours. Looking for yet another company is so much if a pain. And all the months pretty much wasted getting set in this one. Looking to find one and stay. All we want is to drive at least 2500 miles a week and get home every 3 weeks or so.

Isn't that the whole point of the post? A breakdown caused the driver to be on the road and not at home and got compensated only a tiny amount for it.

If compensated. In addition, they didn't find out that the load could have been delivered on Saturday. Which means that as a result of not picking up the phone, instead just saying no they don't do weekend delivery's, No paycheck last week, and next week it will be taxed extra. Just not acceptable.

My advice for what it is worth....:keep your head and worry about the things you can control. I know it gets frustrating but you have no bargaining power at this point. Jumping ship to another mega carrier is not the answer.
Be kind to everyone. Make friends in the industry. When there is a good job available you will be remembered and rewarded. Probably not what you want to hear but it is reality. Vent away on here until the meantime but ignore the folks are negative on everything and just accept he fact that they are smarter and make no mistakes.....it's an argue meant you won't win here.
Keep your head up and stay in the game

I took a look at the web site. It always raises a red flag when I see "Top 10% of driver pay" statements. What are they basing this on? Also a blanket statement of "2500-3000"miles per week, 11,000 miles per month, etc. I understand these are TARGET quantities. However, the ad is crafted to promote the idea that these are indeed facts. Some of their drivers probably do get these miles and pay, but I suspect the large majority certainly do not.

Well, he's broke down again. And guess what, so are 10 other trucks! Yeah, not paying any bills this way. Oh, and hired in at .41 per mile however they forgot to tell us that that was also top pay.

Amen brother. I've been a cheerleader for this company but the last few months they have all but fallen apart. I've not updated my thread yet because frankly I wanted to cool down first but guess what? I've not really had a chance to cool off since November because one bone headed, inept thing after another kept happening.

Broke down truck? Yep, twice. Forgetting to pay breakdown? Happened the first time the truck broke down. Now we are 3 weeks after his truck broke down a second time and yes, almost a week of break down pay still hasn't been paid along with a couple big trips. We've been waiting for this money for 3 weeks now. Guess what Britton-bills won't wait.

Dh finally came home and told them to call him when his trucks fixed. No more waiting in hotels rooms just for them to "forget" his breakdown pay.

Oh there's soooo much more and I'll update my thread if I can cool down enough to write it.

So sorry your getting the same crap. They just don't seem to give a #### about it either. And Scott is going to Canada to work for Bisson. Hey with DM's like Natalie it's a scary deal.

Sounds kinda similar to Morehouse trucking.
